Is the Mail Activity in the viewer window not working properly or is it supposed to show only very limited Mail Activity? Nothing like the separate Activity function which you can open from under the drop down "Window". The left column of Apple Mail viewer window has a function at the bottom allows you to see pop up the "Mail Activity" but very little activity shows in there. Whenever I try to quit or even force quit it, it comes back. This is the first time that I've ever seen a 64 bit process running with root privileges. If it weren't for the indication of 64 bit under virtual memory, I wouldn't have noticed anything. I just found a 'hidden' process running in Activity Monitor.
